Tell me what receiver,DVD player,TV and Speakers to buy. I want the best of the best but i dont have much to spend. Please tell me what to do because i know if you tell me it will be right. I want a receiver that does everything but i only listen to AM. The DVD player must be future proff as i listen to a lot of the cd's i have from the 80's. Dont buy much anymore,to much. Speakers, yes speakers. I dont want black and i dont want them big but not to small but lots of bass as a friend told me subs take up to much power. Dont forget the best of the best but at a low price. Oh,i'm sure it doesnt matter but i live with my parents above the garage. Hey i'm only 42. Only have one outlet but its 15amp.

there are some things we absolutely must know before giving you any further advice:

Are there two plugs in the outlet ? Can you tell us if the same circuit feeds your parent's house as well as your own ?

Can you guarantee the system will never be used to play Eminem ?

Do you own more than two movies with Kevin Costner in them ? you may delete from the count any movies that also include Robert Duvall.

How many ZZ Top videos are stored in your TiVo ?

Which is your favorite Shopping Channel hostess ?

What is the average, and minimum and maximum temperature, humidity, and solar flare effect in your immediate area ?

Should we include solar flare shielding into the cost of the design or are you willing to build shields yourself ?

It will be completely impossible for us to help you any further until you completely answer the above questions.....

Buy Bose. They say they're the most honored name in high fidelity. Must be true, or they couldn't print that.

They also have critically acclaimed sound and style, as well as patented designs...

LMAO..... It seems to me you need, an old Sanyo receiver w/ Mitsubishi speakers that have mismatched woofers. I would add to that a pair of Dodge Champ car speakers for the rear. I hear in a garage it can't be beat!!!

Since i'm above the garage i'm pretty sure i'm going with the Bose Music System. They told me,screw all those speakers, this single unit will be more then the 7 in the 7.1 and i said hell yes. I figure the SVS PB12 Ultra/2 will match up just right. I'm going to have a killer system as soon as i clean the heads on my 8-track,watch out. Should i use monster cables or better?

If all you have is a wuss of an 8-track, then go with Monster.

If you have an honest-to-goodness reel-to-reel (drool, drool), you will be needing those MIT cables to get the sound out to your Mitsubishi speakers...
