I'm in need of help since this is going to be my first home theater. I live in Canada so none of the great deals you have exist here. But I do want to know what you think about the Polk RM6750 and its receiver compared to what I already tried.

So I bought this the other week and returned it:
Denon 650-Watts 5.1 Channel 3D Home Theatre System (DHT-1312XP) : Home Theatre In A Box - Future Shop

It was a decent deal but I didn't like the "S" sounds it made when people spoke, I think it's called sibilance. The speakers were too bright and didn't have much depth to them, although they were clear. I returned them for a Sony HTCt-260 sound bar and I currently own those now. Link to them:
Sony Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer (HTCT260) : Sound Bars - Future Shop

I find myself missing the surround effect, and notice distortion on higher volumes. So I'm looking to purchase a new speaker system separately, and then buy a receiver. Today FutureShop has a deal on the Polk RM650 for $299 and a Denon 1513 receiver for $279 and I'm very close to buying it.

Speakers I'm thinking of buying:
Polk Audio 5.1 Home Theatre Speaker System (RM6750) - 6 Speakers : Surround Speaker Packages - Future Shop

Receiver I'll buy:
Denon 5.1-Channel 3D Home Theatre Receiver (AVR-1513) : Home Theatre Receivers - Future Shop

Of course that will end up costing double of what the Denon 1312 XP was and the Sony soundbar, but I'm wondering if the difference in audio quality is worth it.

So please excuse the noob questions but...

1) Are the specs on the Polk RM6750 better than the included speakers in Denon 1312 XP (SYS 1312)

2) Are the RM6750 2-way drivers? I'm pretty sure the Denon 1312 XP speakers were only 1-way (it says 1-way closed construction on its website)

3) Will I notice a difference in dialogue compared to the Denon 1312 XP? Like I said the Denon's were too bright and whenever a person would say words with the letter S it would sound... I don't know, cheap. I'm a noob so again I can't describe it perfectly.

In summary I guess I'm asking - Is the RM6750 better than the Denon 1312 XP and will I notice a difference in audio quality worthy of double the price?
