Which Harman Kardon for DefTech Procinema 800??

Hey all I want a Harman Kardon as my first receiever to go with my pro cinema 800's the pro cinema 800 is going to be used in a room thats 10x12 and in actuality wont even be able to put on that loud. Im planning on using this setup for about a year or so till I move and I dont need the avr to do any video passthrough.

I'm stuck between getting the 340, 435/445 or the 635.


I want to save as much as possible but I still want something good for the speakers.

You don't need a lot of power for the pro cinema series. I would go with a low number like the 240 or 340. Although a used 635 would be nice. you could pick one up on ebay.

I second the 240 or 340. They have very modest ratings and pleasantly surprise you with power that you think they don't have.

It looks like I will be buying the avr340...a certin member that frequents both boards told me he would sell me his avr635...he lied has me waiting in vain. So I will probably buy from avr635 from J&R

For HK you can also go to the HK Ebay page. They auction factory refrubs direct from Harmon Kardon if you are interested. I got a HKAVR240 for about $230.
