Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here, and I'd like to get some advice on finding a DAC for my system.
I have a McIntosh MC7270 amp, McIntosh C34V preamp, and B&W 801M speakers. I also have a Denon CD player, which is dying on me, and instead of getting it replaced, I'm thinking of exclusively streaming from my computer, so I'll need a nice DAC.
I'm a considering a Fidelity M1DAC-A. Do you think this would be a good enough DAC for the rest of my system? It's tough to find local dealers who have an M1DAC in the showroom, let alone one who can showcase it with something similar to my setup, so I'm hoping to see if you guys might have some opinions on what I should get.
