Hello!

Thanks for stopping by to read this. I have come into and accumulated some equipment over the last few years and would appreciate your help in pairing it and creating a system. I am only going to have 5.1 surround . Here are the components I have - please tell me what you would choose to create a system for both surround and serious music (I'll get an amp if needed for the Paradigms):

Receivers:

Onkyo TX-SR674
Sony STR-DN 840 (Bluetooth is nice and I could bi-amp)
Denon AVR 591
Yamaha RX 595

Front:

Paradigm Studio 60 v.3
Onkyo SKF 4800

Center:

Paradigm CC-570
Canton AV 700
Yamaha NS-C310

Subwoofer:

Canton AS 25
Boston MCS 95

Surround:
Canton Plus XL (though mounts for these seem impossible to find)
JBL Control One

Receiver: Denon if you still have the Audyssey mic. I'm a fan.
Mains: Paradigm. They'll probably be fine on the Denon without an additional amp at moderate volumes.
Center: Try the Paradigm first. If its voice doesn't match the Studios to your satisfaction, trial-and-error the rest of them.
Subwoofer: Try both of them at the same time! See what happens. Put one in your primary listening position and perform the subwoofer crawl around opposite corners of the room to figure out where they'll sound best.
Surround: Meh, flip a coin.

Receiver - Agreed, I'd probably start with the Denon, though those receivers sound more similar in level than not. The Sony, I'd probably leave out. Biamping off a receiver is useless.

Speaekrs, also agree - Of the speakers listed, I'd expect the Paradigms to perform best.

Sub is a toss up, have not heard either.

IMO, the Control Ones should be better than the Cantons, but I'm not familiar with those Cantons.
