Which cables do I use?

Which cables are better hdmi or composite? I have a front projector that has inputs for hdmi, component video, composite video, dvi. I don't have a dvd player yet. I'm in the process of putting my first Home theater together.

HDMI vs composite is Corvette vs Chevette.

HDMI vs Component is less clear cut. The picture quality between the two should be essentially identical. HDMI has one single advantage - one cable instead of three.

I have been pricing hdmi cables and found a wide range of prices. I only need about 20 feet. I want a good cable but I don't want to get ripped off. any suggestions on where I can find a good cable at a fair price?
