Which AVRs have custom input labels?

Hi all -

I am looking to upgrade my receiver from an older Sony ES model. One feature that my family has really come to appreciate is customizable input names/labels. This has allowed us to rename our LD or DAT inputs to "iPod" or "Sirius" as time goes by.

What modern units (or manufacturers) have this functionality?

My 8-year-old Sony does. My current-gen Marantz does. I'll assume Denon as well. my 20 year old Pioneed does. I would be surprised anyone doesn't have programmable names on their upper end. Perhaps it's more by model than brand?

Most of the modern receivers I've come across allow this. Check the manual of any receiver you're interested in.
