Which amp is better

Hello,

Ihave a pair of JBL L 150 lodspeakers and have been given (yes thats right! nada! ) a Krell KSA 50 power amp.

Currently, the amp I use is a Perreaux Power Mosfet 2150B rated at 200W/cnl into 8 ohms.

Will the Krell have sufficient power to drive the JBL's?
In your opinion is the Krell amp that much better than the big Perreaux?

The Perreaux uses power mosfets and ahs a very clean sound with even order harmonics. Is the Krell as good in this department?

Should i sell the JBL's and by a pair of speakers thatbrequire less power to drive?

I also may be given a PAM 5 Krell preamp. Can anyone give me feedback on the sound qualty of the pre amp or should i sell it?

Within their price range and their reputation, I would be surprised to learn if Krell is any better than Perreaux amps which are pure Class 'A' amps if not mistaken. 200 watts is a lot of muscle sufficient to drive any diffucult speakers like planars. Just my 2 cents.
