Whew, that was close!

On a 3-lane interstate and there's a long backed up line in the right lane. I'm going 60 in the center lane and some guy decides to turn left into my lane from basically a stand still. I veer to the left lane about half way and the car behind me brakes enough for me to miss both cars. Whew, but drivers in MN go way to fast. I'll be fine after my heart transplant. i.e. sorry ma I totaled your car.

So you were driving too fast for the conditions? I'd have moved over a lane, going 60 next to a line of cars standing still I've had a few adventures similar to yours....now I just move away but then I haven't seen that much traffic in years.

It sounds like this incident was a little too close to "live as though you'll die today" for comfort!
