Not being able to see what you're talking about, wouldn't either two doubles or four singles suffice?

That's assuming they are true banana plugs.

Banana plugs don't fit that terminal and I've never seen the crimp-on pins in a row of four. What gauge are you using? Unless you're using 10 or 12 ga, anything else fits in the holes and if you want these because making the connections is a pain in the tookas, the green connectors should be removable on that switcher.

As stated, those green terminals don't take banana plugs. They could take the rigid metal pins but there's no advantage to using them. Strip off about 1/4" of the insulation from each wire, twist the ends and insert them before tightening the clamps.

I'm assuming that you are trying to replace the original connector blocks and not get something to plug into the original connectors. I didn't run across any sources, but I recommend contacting Niles Audio to ask if they still carry those. They are, after all, replacement parts for that unit.

Get what? Didn't the four-wire connectors come with the unit? If not, you need to order them. They seem to be unique to Niles.

Red page ten of the manual in the link you supplied for how to implement them. ...or take heed of Highfive's post.

They're not unique- they're a variation of what are called 'Phoenix connectors'.

As Mark posted- if they didn't come with the switcher and it was new, return it and if it wasn't new, talk to the seller. They come with it but should be available from Niles.

I looked for the model number and NGX sells the same piece with their name on it. Check with Radio Shack for the connectors since they sell the NGX version online.

Have you contacted the seller about this?

Niles is a great company and their customer service is top notch. When I had lost some connectors for one of my intellipads they sent me a complete set for free and it was way out of warranty.

I'm curious as to why you asked for 'Banana Plugs' when you knew you were missing the 'Connector' that you later supplied a picture of?

Is this the same yogurt shop that you've been trying to set-up speakers in for the last five months?

Glad the Niles hooked you up. I missed this thread originally, but I would have been willing to ship you some Phoenix connectors as they are actually a VERY common type of connector for equipment.

While those looked like they were spring loaded, typically they are screw down terminations. (see pic below) I can't really name all the places that I've seen them, but I know Sherbourn, Extron, Crestron, AMX, Polycom, Tandberg, ClearOne, and just a LONG line of other professional companies use Phoenix connectors for all their audio and control connectivity.

The hard part is that Phoenix Connectors are made in about a billion differrent sizes...
