When I finally decided that I would buy a D2 to hold me over until HD-DVD standards are set, etc. V Inc. appears to not have any more. Their web site shows them out of stock and have been that way for weeks. An email to the company has gone unanswered.
There was a press release for a D3 early this year that included:
The Bravo D3 allows the brand to continue with a first-ever badge in offering a HD DVD player with enhanced REALmagic HD deinterlacing and integrated Windows Media Player 9 HD decoding with HighMAT formatted playback. The Bravo D3 will be shipping in Q'2 with a suggested retail price of $349.99.
