Where should I place the subs??

I just did a little measuring and I can fit my new towers (which are coming soon) and my two subs along the wall. My thought is what would be best (since it is a very close fit) place. The towers close to the display, which would be right next to it or place the subs close to the display and the towers further apart. Due to the weight of these things I am only gonna do this once. What do you suggest.

try both positions.
Some people just can't take no for an answer. :p

My thought is to have the equipment rack in the corner to keep any audio sources from being corner loaded. Keep the subs close to the display in order to keep the speakers as far apart as possible to allow for a wider sound stage.

Congratulations. :)

Since you're familiar with my layout what do you think about both subs next to the rear couch or one on the left front and other one on right rear corner. If I put both subs next to the rear couch I could set the surrounds on top of them and mount the rears on the back wall like the LS6's.

I would not raise the surrounds that much. They sound good right where they are but I like the idea of the subs to the left and right of the seating position. That's how mine are. I found that with only one nearfield sub the bass was easily localizable (if that's a word). Two neafield subs make the bass come from 'everywhere'. Maybe two monster subs like those placed anywhere and turned up high enough would make the bass sound like what ever you want the bass to sound like. Yeah, those things? ... wire 'em up in your neighbor's living room and stand back.

I think you'll be fine pretty much doing whatever. :)

I would start by getting the towers positioned for the largest sound stage, after you get them perfect see where the subs will fit, with that much sub, like Alex said, its going to be fine, have some pillows sewed on and use them as sofas... normally I see subs close to the center and speakers spread out, that is how I set up my 2.2 systems, subs inside speakers outside, works out the best for me..

I think you need to get rid of all your furniture, except for the couch so that you can buy about 3 more subs (for a total of 5). :D

Got it. Took me a few beers to figure it out last night. The top glass on the Bello stand is 8" longer then the other two. New glass will be 8" shorter for $40.00. This gives me enough room to place the subs next to the display and still be able to set up the towers (toe in) all on one wall. Yea I know, no center.
