This should be a pretty easy one. I want to get some inexpensive spades/banana clips/etc. for my set up. Where can i get them?

umm...dont do ebay cheap ones or ones you have to solder. I thought i could handle the job and it was a no. Plus they are complete crap. Listen to what people on here have to say about them, i didnt and it ended up a bad idea. Google them, i found some nice locking ones cheap, but ended up not buying. Used bare wire and it works really well.

excellent, thanks for the feed back. an addendum to my first post. I currently have quite a few sets of banana plugs that are of reasonable quality. Unfortunately neither my receiver or speakers seem to able to accept them. I am trying to plug them in as I would an rca cable more or less. is this correct or should i be putting them is as i load the bare wire or should i get another type of connector. hope I'm not too vague in my description.

No idea. Maybe spades would work better for you. (They are dirt cheap).

Yes they should pop off. Tighten the binding post down tight before inserting the banana plug.
