when are new receivers released?

new to this forum but was curious as to when new equipment (receivers) is released. is it in the spring after the CES or do different manufacturers release at different times. I was in the Magnolia section at a Best Buy looking at receivers Yamaha Aventage versus other brands and the salesperson made a comment that the new stock would be coming in in the spring. any info is appreciated. thanks

The lower range AVRs (SRP <$999) are typically introduced @ CES and shipped in Q2, the step-up AVRs (SRP > $999) are typically introduced @ CEDIA & IFA and shipped in Q4.
