what's up with 3808ci elimination at b/b?

hey people, looked through b/b online- i know that denon has a new line of recievers this summer but why did b/b eliminate the 3808ci and surplanted the 900#s from c/c which is out of business. unless profit margin was the main reason. also looking to audition equipment in the pittsburgh,pa-tri-state area. slim pickins for listening to any equipment in area. only b/b and one custon installer.

Are your sure? You might try going to some manufacturer's web sites & looking for dealers in your area. Go to denon.com, give them your zip code & see what comes up.

yep went to denon two others was either out of bus. or phone disconnected but thanks anyways

Denon has been out of stock for last years products for over a month from my distributor. If BB is out of stock, they have no way to get replacements until the new units arrive - which should be VERY shortly now.

We will see the 2310 2910 and other models come along!

Yeah i have not been able to get a 3808ci from my distributor for a little bit either. Its just that time of year

Also remember just because its not on BB website does not mean they are all gone. Lots of stores may still have some in stock, and your closest store can always get one transferred
