The answer is a matter of opinion. If you answer a few questions it will help people give you better answers.

1. What are the dimensions of your room?
2. Do you have a sub?
3. What do you have to power the speakers?
4. Are there any placement or size requirements?
5. Will you order from the internet or do you want to buy from a brick and mortar store?

Strictly my 2 cents of course but pound for pound, $ for $ B&W CM1 at $900.00 for the pair matched with a subwoofer is a very satisfying speaker experience.

Infinity Primus c350 center speaker: $150
Infinity Primus p152 Bookshelf Speaker x 4 for front and surround speakers: $300

For the sub, Hsu VTF2 mk4, or Rythmik FV12, or Outlaw LFM-1 Plus. You can also get the Outlaw sub $500 shipped in the B-stock section.

That setup will leave you a bit of $ left over for stuff like speaker mounts, cables, and other accessories. If you have a bit of flexibility in your budget I would encourage you to step up to the VTF3 mk4 sub from Hsu. On the other hand, if your room is large I would recommend you get some more substantial front speakers than the p152, I might recommend the p162 or p252 or better yet the p362 or p363 if you have some budget flexibility.

I'm betting the OP will not respond to this topic, not buy any speakers, and simply make another topic in a few months. Check his post history.
