What's next?

So what is next on everyone's list of improvements/purchases? I plan on getting some room treatments(A couple sets of those GIK panels would fit the bill I think) and getting my system professionally calibrated for starters, then getting my hands dirty with a DIY sub project. My goal would be to at least match the performance of my VTF-3, we will see. Of course, all this isn't going to happen until we are a good ways into 2007.

Have a few things going on at once (bad habit, can't help it.... ). As soon as I finish wallpapering my HT room, I'll be able to get back to working on building some of my own acoustic panels (5 so far) and likely will be buying a few from GIK as well. So far, the DIYs look and sound pretty darn good, I'll likely use bass traps from GIK, though.

After that will be a short riser for most of the room, then carpeting on top of that. That should keep me busy for the next 6-9 months, but I'm sure I'll through a few more things in there... -TD

Upgrade my monoblocks in the main system or go to a big m/c amp. Everything else is fine.

Upgrade speakers in bedroom system.

My next interest is actually an HTPC, but I just bought a new display. So my next upgrade will mainly be what my wife will allow.

I voted new display, but who knows considering the rapid pace of "HT" evolution. I've vowed to never buy another TV again, so if(&when)my current 65" display begins to go on the fritz...... it will get replaced with a 1080p PJ and an 8' screen

My room is already blacked out with dark walls, so IM ready!!!

I would like a newer bigger display.

I would like to get my hands on the Axiom Epic 80.500's.

And I would really like trying to build my own floor standing speakers. The 15' 1000Watt sub is not going to happen.

But it will be some time before I can get myself to spend any more money. I really need a grant.

I just moved into a new house and figure I may as well get started right. In my last place I never got around to much in the way of acoustic treatments, but this time I'm gonna try to go "all out" as much as I can. It's just me, no WAF to deal with, and no roommates.
