What's going on with AVAD?

Does anyone know what is happening with AVAD? I've heard rumor that they are closing all the branches but my local branch denies that. Anyone else hearing anything?

I haven't heard anything like that. That would really suck as one of my only local distributors is also gone and it leaves me Avad and ADI.

It's tough though because a lot of what they sell I can find online for similar or less money... but I can't pick it up for free.

I would not be surprised. Their vendors are squeezing them harder and harder. The one in OH closed down around 2 years ago and directed me to their IN office I believe.

I haven't bought from a distributor in years. I just never found value in them.
