And the hits just keep on coming. June and 105 degree heat. I know I was born and raised in Texas, but I don't think anyone gets used to the heat. Too damn hot to fish, golf, bar-b-q, drink whiskey (ok maybe not drink) ....shoot me now:mad:.

Guess we will all raid the cement ponds :D

Hope Dawg has shade over his or it will evaporate faster than he can fill it.

I played golf yesterday between Noon and 4pm. It was hot but still fun, just drink a lot of water. I am pretty sure you can acclimate to it buy sticking your head in the oven, when it is on broil, 4 or 5 times a day.

I tried that whole water thing but something about the water at the golf coarse isn't right.....First time I ever had water in a shiny silver can. Kinda fizzy too, but I thought oh well. They say drink as much as you can when in the heat but I can't seem to make it passed the 15th hole before taking a nap.

Something about golf club water is fishy...

Think I'll have the wife try the oven thing first:) just to see if it works.

Stick your head in the oven for 10 minutes and then in the freezer for 10 minutes and on average you'll come out ok.

105 is nothing. It's like chump change heat. 110 to 120 are much more fun.

above 120 is deadly.

I suggest 2 things. Wear sunscreen and drink lots of fluids if you work outside I used to down a bottle of powerade everyday when i worked in the heat. It kept me going to the bathroom. And that's a sign your not dehydrated.:)

That usually doesn't hit until a little later. :(

I remember it well. My third summer down there was enough.
That heat and sh!t pay really made no sense, no matter how much I smoked. :D

Are you a snow monkey?

You are supposed to drink not smoke. :) You got them mixed up I think.

you say chump change, but with 75 percent humidity it feels like 120 and not to mention you have to drink the air.
