Ok it is for sure worth looking into but i have a feeling they are right, it is just me, i am listing to some music right now and they really dont need to be any louder, it is just when you are listing to music for a long time you get used to it and then when a really good song comes on you want it louder and it does that fine anyway. Just thought i could get more:)

Hi, i decided i am going to get a amplifier to hook up to my Pioneer 94 Elite , i would like to have alot of headroom with great sound, i didnt spend all this money to put a huge cheap amp that will not sound very good, so i was hopeing to get some good ideas and than make a choice after that.

Should i go 5ch 7ch or just 2 or 3ch for the fronts. Cost is not a huge deal but i dont want to go crazy either.
Thank you for your time Kirk

Why not go with what WmAx suggested, that Behringer? Certainly has a whole lot of power, more so than the Emotiva, less expensive, that would allow you to get into the hidef BluRay and a number of videos:D

I dont really know if this is relivant or not but i know their has not been many reviews ont the SVS MTS-01 so if anybody wants to read this here is one.

Well, I think the review pretty much settles the question. Here is the relevant quote, which followed some measurements:

"...the speakers will still be easy to drive."

I think it is safe to say you really do not need better amplification than you already have.

Hi, i was thinking of getting that because it is alot less money and then i could tell if it is going to make a big diff, or not, i already do have blu-ray and HD Direct tv with about 15 blu-ray movies.

Then, you could buy even more BR DVDs from the savings, or, a speaker upgrade, that makes the largest differences, not amps.:D
