thank you for the reply shadyJ and agarwalro, mostly i was just curious of what others would choose for there systems if given the choice, thought it would be interesting to see the different opinions on these speakers.
I have read a lot of good reviews for the sierra's w/RAAL but most of the reviews were mainly for music,
for me i actually am looking at getting new speakers, plan on dong a atmos/dtsx/auro3d system i rent so i can't do in-ceiling speakers so i plan on doing the unified speaker setup with front heigh and rear heigh from my denon 7200wa. my current system(in a family room) i have NHT 1.5 on stands for my main LR, NHT audio center 1 for my center and NHT super ones for my surrounds, currently i have 1 SVS sb2000 and plan on getting another,
The Sierra 2 + dual EP15 is my 'one for all' setup. A good speaker will be good for music and movie sounds. Contrary to popular belief, electronics and speakers cannot distinguish between them two

. People wanting one set of speaker for movies and another for 2.0 only "listening purity "are too rich, imho, but, let them have their cake and icing too.
The unified Atmos speaker is a waste of time and money. When Atmos is no longer in style the resale value will end up in the dumpster (also see, curved screen HDTVs). If you absolutely must try Atmos, you could get the Onkyo, Pioneer or Elac 'add on' Atmos speakers that sit on the main L and R pointing skyward, as if questioning its existence.
If you're investing in more immersion, you'll need to choose between Atmos and DTSX or only Auro. The speaker layouts are not interoperable.
As you see, I'm running a 2.2 setup and am perfectly content. if I was adding speakers to my system, it's probably another sub. Maybe, you need a multi channel enthusiast to give you a better answer.
