What would happen if i ran a splitter to my sub amp?

What would happen if i ran a splitter from my receiver sub pre out to the sub amps inputs? Would i get more bass or would it ruin my amp or receiver?

More than likely nothing. If you need more voltage you can use an active DI box in between. If split signals many times with no issue, but it depends on the gear.
