Hi,
Looking for some advice on which components within my setup could give best bang for the buck if replaced.

I am a home theatre listener with a predominant focus on action films. i like to run it loud but don't want my kids' ears to bleed. -10db is about as loud as i will ever push the amp and -15db is more common.

My media room is 20Lx15Wx8. i project to the screen across the width of the room with fronts about 10ft from listening position
My current setup is
- Yamaha RX-V673 7.1 ch 105w
- B&W 603 S3 fronts
- B&W CC6 S2 center
- 2x SVS 2000 sub
- 2x Polk RC80i in ceiling surround
- 2x Onkyo d-032ax bookshelf surround back

The B&Ws were originally paired with a Rotel RSP 1066 and RMB1075 which i loved but i brought these over from Australia and had to run them through a step down transformer. Cost to switch from 240 to 120hz was prohibitive. Ultimately the RMB got busted in a move and the fix was going to cost $400 so again, didn't seem to make sense.
The 673 came in as a $200 black friday deal placeholder 4yrs ago that i never bothered to upgrade.

I recently saw the Denon AVR 4300 on sale for $800 but didn't act fast enough and now i can't find anymore of those deals. That felt like a logical upgrade to me and i'm kicking myself for not jumping on it when i saw it.
I feel like i clearly need to get rid of the 6ohm onkyo surrounds and have been thinking about bipoles since the surrounds are both at ear height 4ft away LR from listening position and only about 2ft back.

I think the amp really needs to go because i get a lot of blu-rays with Atmos and i want to be able to experience that effect.

I have $2000 and I'm looking for bang for the buck upgrades for my money.
PS: if anyone knows where i can get a denon avr 4300 at the $800 price i would love to know

Apologies if this post was more appropriately placed elsewhere. I looked for a way to delete and move after i posted but could not find a way.

Thanks for the advice

Also use a Synology 1513+ NAS where i have a large collection of remux DVD and BluRays. Every Disc get's digitized onto the NAS. The convenience of running things straight out of a Kodi library through an HTPC is compelling for those of us who are too lazy to get up and swap discs :)

We have a sale on Denon and Sony right now. Which AVR did you have in mind?
