Hey all
I am putting a surround system together for the house... I had all but decided on 'Aperion everything' when I spotted a pair of used Avance Epsilon 980's (2002) on sale for about the same price as the Aperions 4Ts (or 6Bs) ... and I read the Avance reviews which were glowing...
But - second hand speakers? Will I be able to tell instantly if they are not working well at a sound test?
And... what do I match them with for center channel? Will the Aperion 5c be just fine... or am I missing some important factor? (I'm a newbie - please be kind)
Finally - we'll be using the system for Movies, TV and Music... with no preference, but I'd like it all to sound good.
