What should I buy for my speakers?

So I owned an old home theater system model SC-HT290. The dvd player broke and my mom threw the receiver away with it. I also don't have the surround speakers so all I have is three speakers and a sub. I want to be able to use these speakers to be able to play music in my weight room. I'm kind of lost of what receiver I should buy that would be compatible with these speakers. You can find the specs to all these speakers and the receiver that went with them in the owners manuel on page 52 and 53. I also want to spend as little as money as possible and don't need anything new.

Looks like they have standard speaker "clip" connections, so pretty much any receiver in your price range would work.

There might be an issue using that subwoofer.

Unless it's a "powered subwoofer", it won't work with another receiver.

Two Questions:

1) How does the subwoofer connect to the receiver? Via speaker wire or an RCA plug?

2) Does the subwoofer have a power cord that you need to plug into the wall?
