i know my sub needs to be set on fire but i am trading a guitar amp for a much nicer unit (either paradigm or velodyne), depending on which sounds better to me.
i dont want people to spend lots of money on me, but i thought these units might be a considerable upgrade from my current config.

i have also constructed some sound absorbing panels and added rugs and curtains to my room to help acoustics.
