i just recently bought two 3-way speakers and i'm wondering what kind of receiver or amp i should get. i'm a bit of an audio nube so here is the description directly copied from site where i bought them from.

Brand New Pair of Ported 12" 3-Way Cabinets
500 Watts RMS per pair and 1000 Watts Max per pair
Sensitivity is 92db with 32-30,00 Hz Frequency Response
Woofer is a Deluxe 12" 8ohm Poly-Treated Wide Dispersion Driver
Midrange is a Deluxe 5" Kapton & Tweeter is 3"x7" Horn
Terminals Have Two 1/4" Jacks and Raw Wire Connecters
Requires an amplifier that can produce no less than 200 watts max at 8ohm

i basically want to be able to play music at a decent amount of loudness, maybe you feel the bass a little bit. then there would be the occasional party thrown where they would be turned up more. i would also like to go towards the cheaper side as my budget is limited (college student). if its possible for under 200 that would be great. thanks for trying to help

mostly a computer, maybe an ipod here and there. it would also be nice if i could plug in my xbox 360 to it but not a necessity.

Most receivers aren't gonna have the power specified, but its also probably not necessary to have that kind of power with the sensitivity of those speakers. Parts express has some powered mixers in your budget that might work really well. They would also allow you to hook up any analog device, ie computer, ipod, xbox and possibly your tv.

This might fit the bill...
