I am looking to upgrade the main speakers in my system.
It serves about 50/50 HT/Music in my media room.
I am driving them with an Onkyo 803 (105wpc I think), and have two Rhythmic Audio Servo Subs in sealed boxes. My current Mains are KEF, and while they sound good, I do not get a real sense of 'Clarity' and 'Presence' with these.
I have been looking around, and a couple of speaker kits have caught my eye. The North Creek Vision (~$1600) and the Selah Audio Peridots(~$1100).
Would it be worth my while to spend the extra $500 on the Visions? Are there other speaker kits out there that are comparable or better?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
