What name can you give a person that downgrades you HT to stereo speakers on your TV?

While the mouse was away the cat downgraded and rearranged my Home Theater and WIFI music server system.

My 19 inch rack cabinet is in the shed with speakers and I am reduced to TV speakers and a notebook and cheap computer speakers..Not happy JAN..Well the cat is out for awhile and the vintage HMV speakers got connected in place of the the cheap computer speakers..

It was done by a people that think a mobile phone speaker sounds ok to party on..

What sort of name could we come up with some sort of phile name...

Cheers

That is one of the most rediculous things I have ever heard. The lack of respect for someone's property is beyond me. Sounds like she's trying to move you to the shed, and I would run not walk.

I say get your gear back in the house. If you think name calling is going to help you achieve that then go straight to mentioning ... you know? ... I'm going to skip right past that. Just get your gear back and any talking at all is probably not going to help that.

Seriously, I have no life.
I agree, rebuild your system right away. No discussion, no negotiation or she will emasculate you, if she hasn't already!

Counterpoint: Is she violent? If you take this advice she might literally emasculate you...

I thought that he was talking about his mother when he first posted. I guess we'll find out. :D

Well the OP has not provided us with whom this person is, so I will withhold judgement. If its the wife, I say go into your shared closet and remove every shoe color that looks alike and only leave one shoe color, that should get the point across. BUT BEWARE, you could find your clothes outside the next time you come home, just saying, :D

Every guy here should know that despite our talk, at the end of the day the WIFE still has some say in a shared living space. It is the way of the world. That said, instead of viewing it as your gear being put out to pasture, it is actually time for a upgrade! No, a 19" butt ugly rack in the family room is what you had in college. It's time to get a nice piece of furniture that can house your gear, and if you want to do it nice, then get one WITH 19" rack rail inside of it! That way you get an UPGRADE on your rack, without the complaints from SWMBO. Same with the speakers! If your old ugly monstrosities aren't family room worthy, then how about some good on-wall speakers? Or some Def Tech Mythos speakers? There are some excellent options out there, and instead of being pissed about the tidal wave that just came through, simply look at it as an opportunity. Heck, if you really are determined to get those speakers back in the house, then it's time for a dedicated theater/listening space ALONG with more sexy speakers in the family room. New house time!

An open ended budget for me would likely include multiple wives. :D

Good point about it being an opportunity to upgrade ... not the wife though.
No budget is that open ended. :)
