what media will help me tune a SUB?

I have read several threads on tuning a sub etc. I'm gonna admit that I still don't fully understand. Is there something I can buy or download to play through the system to help tune the sub? I basically have one place to put my Velodyne 18 so I have to maximize it from that position. I know this subject is beat to death but from my standpoint of NOT being able to move my sub around how do I go about getting the best performance? I am using a beringer feedback destroyer with EQ to help tune frequency. I am still trying to figure the beringer out so maybe some type of media could help me get there. Thanks Brett

I got home last night from work and followed these instructions. j_garcia. you the man!! this beringer really works! thanks for the link! You can do amazing things with the sound.
