WHat kinda price should I expect to pay for a pair of B&W 683s??

Hi All,

Times are hard and I am looking to save each and every cent that I can. Hence the question:

Has anyone bought a pair of B&W 683s??

What should be the price I should be looking for forward to paying for the same?

Any reference would be great so that I can have a clue as to realistically how much can I negotiate with the dealer in my area

These are 2nd hand on Audiogon.com. It should give you some idea of what you should pay on the 2nd hand market if you purchased them that way. It lists retail numbers usually. Most B&W dealers don't discount too much. The market is very slow right now for everyone, so you may be able to negotiate 20%. Maybe more, depending on your dealer.

Thanks for the links

I recently visited Definite Audio, they are the only dealers for B&W in Seattle area.

They said that B&W does not allow them to offer discounts and all they can do is 5%. Which I feel is low for a new pair of speakers.

Has anyone ever bought from these ppl?
