is it a super tweeter ? looks like the tweeter is the horn above.

since it is aimed downish. would that serve to direct the sound to the side and down ?

almost looks like a gimic to make the speaker "pro" looking, to help sales.

The horn is for the mids- the fins come off separately from the tweeter and are, as I posted, for dispersion. I worked for a Jamo dealer when that series came out. They were made for high SPL use without having to spend the money on pro gear. It worked- they were very sensitive and could handle power well. There were a lot of the Power series in bars around here. I've seen them in bars in other parts of the country, too.

Jamo became the #3 manufacturer of finished speakers worldwide- they didn't really need help in the sales department. We sold thousands of pairs in a short time.

I'm surprised you aren't familiar with their speakers- their headquarters were in Buffalo Grove from about '84 until Klipsch moved the office to Indy.
