I purchased a LG lcd projection tv and speakers from a local shop. When I purchased it it was as is. I only received one speaker wire. I thought no big deal I will just purchase another.....boy was I wrong. On one end of the wire it has a little green plastic connector that is rectangel in shape about 1/2cm wide and about inch long (which fits neatly in the back of the TV) and the other end is just spliced bare wire which connects to the speaker. Now the problem is I don't know what the name of this little green plastic connector is in order to purchase one. Hopefully someone can help, I would love to get the speakers working.

I think most people would call it the "damn proprietary POS!!"

I honestly dont know what you would call it. Im sure you can find some type of Molex connector that will fit into the hole as theyre pretty similar in the way they work. You can also go to a home depot and find a pack of these:

They work in much the same way as those speaker connectors, by sliding over t he metal pin on the tv.

I emailed (pics and all) and the place that I purchased the tv contacted LG. I did not get a response from LG and the store (well lets say I probably will never purchase anything from them again) I didn't know the name of connector to inquire myself. I also tried searching it out via LG web site and the model of TV (RU-48SZ40) or speaker (AS-48SA40) is not there. I will try to contact LG myself. Thanks
