What is the ideal solution for this setup?

Hi

Large room, ceiling speakers and would like to be able to listen to tv/phone/laptop and dvd player on it.

I'm trying to research it but I'm not getting anywhere.

Basically, I'll have a TV, which will be used to watch movies/videos through a laptop connection (hdmi).

I would like to then have the sound from the laptop played through ceiling speakers. The speakers will also play music from dvd player/mp3 player etc.

So how do I join them all up? Speakers to receiver? what kind of hardware should I get for a low budget. So far the speakers I found were the Audio Source AC8C.

You need a receiver. Hook your laptop up to the receiver's HDMI input, and hook the TV up to the receiver's HDMI output. Hook the speaker's up to the binding posts on the receiver's amplifier. Basically you will want to just go get a receiver and follow it's instructions on its setup guide.
