Hello,
I am really new to this audio stuff but am really getting into it! On a subwoofer, what is 'rev' switch for? Please explain in terms like "subwoofers for Dummies" might! Thanks!

most likely it reverses the phase. if you have the sub in front of you, you want it to fire in phase with the mains. if the sub is behind you, you want it to fire opposite the mains. if you have TWO subs, there may be set-ups where you want them firing opposite to each other to prevent a hole in the sound. just my guess. :)

Leprkon is right, but...

... I wouldn't worry too much about it. Flip it a few times and, if one way sounds better leave it that way. If you can't really tell, well...
