The receiver is a KLH R3100. It's a simple 2 channel receiver that's very easy to work on. That being said, I'm really looking forward to getting rid of the hiss on this bad boy. I have been making my way down the chip chain on the board and have made my way to the 4558 chip.
I have read some forums on good replacements, but all of those forums are for guitar amps. Non of them have referred to a stereo receiver.
Any help is welcome.
