What is a good amp to use with JL audio 12W1v3-4 subwoofer?

I am planning on installing a 12" JL subwoofer in my 1999 mazda millenia could anyone give me any advice on what amp i should use? I dont really know much about amps and subs but i know just about enough. Thanks!

If you wanna stay with the same brand, a JL Audo 250/1 would be perfect for that sub. Otherwise just go with a well known brand that gives you enough power.

Are you sure you don't have a 12W0v3, cause I don't think there is a W1V3, only a W1V2... either way a 250/1 would be plenty for that sub... but just get something that puts out at least 200-300 watts at 4 ohms and you will be fine.

When I was into car audio I always used Zapco - Reference they also make some less expensive amps. Great company.
