If I wanted an amp from SVS I would be looking at the PCi instead. I heard the behringer A500 is a good amp, is there any other good amp that will drive this 4ohm sub? Thanks

I'm using the Dayton amp from PE and I'm really happy with it. It's part number 300-810.

Thanks everyone for their opinion, I think I am getting 2 of the 25-31 CS tuned lower and 2 outlaw M2200 to power them. What does everyone think?

Good amps, but I'd actually want a little more power for those subs. They will work though. With the lower tuning, you will lose a little output, so I'd actually want a little more power than what the PCi comes with... Are you buying these new? What exactly are you trying to achieve and how big is your room? You'll also need to feed them with an already crossed over signal as those amps have no x-over. For a sub, I like to see an amp intended for use with a sub to be honest. Yes, plate amps have the drawback of not being self contained though.

M2200 delivers 300 watts at 4 ohms which I think will suffice, the dual subs will give me more flatter FR for my room which is 16 x 16 with cathedral ceiling about 13 ft at the peak. The room open to a little hall way and the kitchen which also has cathedral ceiling. My outlaw 1070 will be doing the cross over for the amp. I also need to get some bass traps. I was looking at the power supply for the plate amps and wasn't too impressed.

When you get the 2200's and the CS's up and running, please post your opinion on how they sound. I really wanted to use a 2200, but I have a really big room and only one sub so I needed a bit more wattage.

I second the vote on the rythmik audio amps. I too use an A350 - and it works well. One of the biggest advantages to using an amp designed for subwoofer duty, is it will likely have crossover, phase, and perhaps even some low frequency eq adjustments, which will help you to integrate it into your system.

Most of the time the receiver does the cross over and for eq adjustment I have a BFD with Room Eq wizard. The only thing negative about M2200 is no phase adjustments but then again I can reverse the polarity of the speaker wire so I have 0 and 180 phase adjustments none in between. Thanks

How did you arrive at the conclusion that 2 CSs will give you flatter response? You won't know that until you install them. A square room is one of the worst things for bass. I'm sure those amps will do fine, but you asked for some help so....
