What is the best HDMI cable? People say to buy from Monster cable. Any body used that cable? Which one is better 100 , 400 or Ultra?

Maybe elsewhere, but not here. Monster Cable is good quality but severely overpriced. Do not waste your money on Monster Cable.

THIS cable from MonoPrice.com is every bit as good as a Monster Cable for a fraction of the price.

How long is the run? Long runs may need a cable with a thicker ga wires inside of them.

This is what happens when an HDMI cable exceeds its spec. You will see this a lot with so-called 1080p-capable cables that exceed 3-5m in length.

Conversely, I can pass 1080p through a 10m HDMI copper cable made by DVIGear - at those lengths (and 1080p) all of a sudden cables (and reputable manufacturers) start to matter.

Thank you all for quick response.
Its about 10Feet Long from Receiver (Yamaha 2600) to SOny HS51A Projector. Is this very large distance or it can be doable? I don't have 1080p resolution. I guess max is 1080i and 720p.

Thanks. I see there are different kind of HDMI to HDMI. What's the difference between 22AWG, 24 and 28AWG?

Gauge of the wire. The lower the #, the larger the wire. so 22 is larger wire than 26...

HDMI Cables

I have two longer length HDMI cables, one from Monoprice (22AWG - 25ft gold plated) and one from DVI Gear (7.5 meter Super High Resolution - SHR).

Both 22 gauge cables.........

But I have to say the DVI Gear cable is a better made, better quality cable. You will pay for the quality, though.

You said you want "the best" HDMI cable. Then that would be the DVI Gear.
