I posted an initial impression about a month ago I did not know I was to do a review The short answer this is probably the best buy receiver at this date. It also makes an excellent Pre amp because of its very quite analog pre outs.

G Gigabit Audiophyte Dec 24, 2005 #9 I can't wait for that review to be published. I'm a bit confused whether to buy RX-V4600 ot RX-V2600. Looking at the Yamaha website at the specs comparison, there is not much diference. I am waiting for the Audioholics review to make my mind Cheers
