Understood...
But then again, we make predictions on release dates based on what we know at the moment. The changes that happened with this product were quite unexpected.
We have been a little quiet about the UMC-1 lately, just for this very reason...and in return, we get people frantically wondering if the unit is still coming, are we hiding info, are we giving up? etc. It's a no-win situation in some ways...say nothing, and you are damned...say anything and you are damned.
We make statements based on what we know and believe at the time, based on previous experience and deep industry knowledge. If that deviates, well...what can we do? We're trying our best to keep our customers or potential customers alert to what's going on. If someone buys another product because of situations beyond our control, so be it.
We firmly belive that purchasers of the UMC-1 will have their expectations exceeded in many levels. Quality of product, value for money, outright sexiness

...
We are still waiting on Cirrus, and we still believe they are the best solution for what our customers want. Period. Next question.
If we are faulted for that...well, then...ok. We've been faulted for being honest and open. We don't have to be honest and open, but it feels right...it's what we want, and what we think AV fiends deserve.
Ok. I feel better now. Break's over. Back to standing on your heads. Who's got some whiskey?
May not be back on this forum, BTW...just here visiting.
best,
