Hi,
So I'm going to be putting a sub together with an eD 16Ov2. It has a 650RMS, 1100 Max Watt, and there will be a load of 4 Ohms.
What fuse should I use?
Should I use a fuse at all?

Thanks

What amp are you using?, the amp should have all the protection onboard that you should need buddy...

Warpdrv is correct. Use whatever came with the amp, and replace it with the same if it blows. If it didn't come with a fuse (maybe you bought it used or something?) then replace it with whatever it says on the back panel or in the manual.

The fuse is designed to protect the amplifier from going beyond its limits and other catastrophic failure (e.g., spilled a beer in it!). It doesn't matter what drivers you are using, or your expected power output (well, until you go beyond the current draw specified). The amp's fuse isn't there to protect your speakers.

Use whatever it's got, and you'll be fine. I have an EP2500 as well, and I've never even looked at the fuse. I doubt you'll run out of juice from that amp. Either you speakers will pop, or you'll have so much bass that you'll be scared to turn it up louder.

Good luck!
