This is the front panel for the box i am building for a 13inch JL.
I have a set height and depth that i want to keep so it will flow with other furniture on the wall, this has left me with a width of 25.5"

I am thinking that this may look too wide for a 13" sub, what do you guys think?
It is hard for me to visualize on paper but I dont want to start building and then not like the way it looks.

The dimensions arent that far off of what I built for my 12" Kappa pefect subs, The cabinets are big but I dont think it looks odd. I would definetly flush mount the driver if you can even though it might not be very easy if your using a w7 because of its mounting system.

You mentioned you want it to be a set height, Dont forget to account for spikes or feet.

Thanks for the reply.
Can you post a pic of you enclosure?

After measuring the two options i have as far as placement in the room I may have to cut down the width and increase the lenght some.

I will draw up the other option and see which I like better,
It just seems like a lot of empty space when I look at it, If I increase the height to cut down the width it will be something like 49" h with just a single driver towards the bottom.

You need to make the port width wider if you want 32 sq. in. as required for your sub choice.
