Thanks for your hints. Thought about new subwoofer, thought about SVS, talked with this "so-called distributer". Their prices are twice higher comparing to US . Actually this is a very rare instance in Russia, where prices are normally slightly lower. The reason is because they have no competitors on SVS. So I simply don't wanna pay for their monopoly. Although I am very much excited about SVS. Maybe I'll just buy so that I could sleep well (hope you understand ).

That's a pretty nice system. A good 12 inch powered subwoofer would be nice. I don't know if the warranty would matter for you if you had to pay for shipping something half way around the world for service. Let's face it, the only things that go wrong with a powered sub is the amp and driver. Shipping costs to ship a 100 kilo item to the USA might be as much as just buying the amp or driver.

To majorloser: all your reasons are absolutely right. It makes me mad how these companies share (or cut) the world - first, they will not accept my order addressing me to "Mr. official distributor" (been there, done that). Secondly, our local rep accepts 15 days free return and 3 years warranty. Another question - the room is 9 sq. metres (sorry, i can't calculate it in feet, in other words - rather small). Do you think the cheapest offered model (PB10-NSD) would be ok? Unfortunately I cannot afford more expensive one. Btw the price is $ 774 + SPL meter Radioshack free.
