I have a chance to pick up a LG model 32LC7D 32" 720P LCD for a good price. What does everyone this of this TV? Its going in a bedroom so I don't need a killer TV (I have my beloved 56" Samsung 1080p DLP for main viewing) Any info/advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Sean

I bought a 42" LG for my Wife's Mom and Dad and it seems fine. They run it 20 hours a day and it is holding up well.

20 hours a day? How do they find 20 hours a day of content worth actually watching nowadays?!?! =)

I'd probably go for a Samsung LN32A450 or LN32A540 (Costco's version with an extra HDMI input). The only thing lacking is the sound quality IMO. I would compare the sound first for the older folks.

LG's usually seem to be a good choice for the price.

That depends entirely upon how close one sits to it. But, of course, most people will not sit close enough for it to matter with a 32" set, and, naturally, it would only give more detail if one has a source that is better than 720p anyway.

I just bought a LG 22" widescreen monitor from Dell for $129 and I am very impressed with it. It was so bright that I had to turn the brightness and contrast way down to feel comfortable with it. I would recommend you search through slickdeals.net in the hotdeals video section because there are a lot of good deals going on right now.

From all of my friend's LG's look good. The TV i have is decent, and the same size as yours. If you find a good price thats suitable, i'd buy it.
