Here is a link to the banana plugs that I bought off ebay. http://cgi.ebay.ca/Locking-Banana-Plugs-BLOWOUT-SALE-75-OFF_W0QQitemZ5877254179QQcategoryZ32838QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I wanted banana plugs like these because the ones I have now are cheap and they keep sliding out on the back of my receiver. The ones that I have right now are these http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10063958&catid=11349# Like I said they are cheap. With my friends discount I got a package of these for bout $5, but they turned out to be crappy.

Do you think the banana plugs from ebay are a good price? Or did I get ripped off?

Sweet, I think they will help keep the plugs in and not keep losening up.

Yeah that is a good deal. The only problem with those plugs is that it takes only 10 gauge wire, the ones I bought take up to 8 gauge which is what I have. That is a good deal though for anyone else who wants plugs.

Hey guys

I have a question about how to install these banana plugs. The plugs that I have installed right now have a small pin in the middle which I have to push into the middle of the wire. The new plugs that I bought do not have a pin, they have a screw. So how far should I strip the speaker wire? Does the screw closest to the plug tip have to be touching bare wire? I know that the second screw is supposed to hold the wire from slipping out and relieve some of the pressure on the first screw.

Thanks
