I want to get some small (less than 10lbs) surround speakers to use as surround backs for now. Eventually I will get some decent ones and move these to my bedroom.

I have been looking at the JBL Northridge n26's and on ebay I can get some for under $100. Are these speakers worth a damn and are there any other speakers out there in the same price rance that are decent. I want to keep them under 10lbs to I can mount them with a speaker mount that doesnt cost more than the speaker.

pick up some indoor/outdoors that already have a mounting brace. you can get Polk Atrium 45's for about 140 and Yammy AW150's for about $ 80. since you don't need low freq in your surround speakers (it actually defeats the purpose) indoor/outdoors with a 4 inch or 5 1/2 inch main driver work great for ht and usually come with a solid mount. :)

Def Tech ProCinema 60's.

Small. Good Sound. $700.00.

Smallest speakers with the best sound for the price.

Universial speaker mount will work, and i think they sell a pair from def tech thats 35 a pair.
