<font color='#000000'>I have just placed my &nbsp;Pioneer 563a dvd player in progressive scan mode.My tv as I have just found out is not progressive capable. This in turn leaves me with a grey screen giving me no access to the players menu. Fiddling with the remote has so far proven futile. &nbsp;Can anyone figure it out.</font>

<font color='#000000'>In the owner's manual, it will tell you how to reset the player to factory settings. Do this and you will be good to go.
You will need to turn dts back on, after resetting.............

<font color='#000000'>if you have lost / thrown out the manual, the manufacturers website will often have the same manual online in .PDF format for your hardware.
