Wharfedale

Has anybody heard anything, positive or negative about the Wharfedale speakers? I was looking at a different brand earlier this year, and can't seem to get any into Canada.
The Wharfedale's Diamond 9 series seems good on paper, but want some opinions on them.

I heard one pair(don't remember which model) and liked them a lot.

I've heard Evo 30's and liked them very much. Had a bit of the smooth B&W thing goin on. Haven't heard any Diamonds.
A guy named Lanemart has new 9.6's for $425 on Ebay.
I do not know him.
