No. The WH2 is a set that comes with a center channel and two Bipoles. The system was designed for those people who have a nice pair of stereo speakers they want to incorporate into a surround system. I'm assuming that you have the bipoles. While they are great for what they were designed to do they would not be good fronts. Are the Modus speakers not pleasing as fronts? The Modus is not a current line so I don't know how they perform.
If you like the Wharfedale sound and are looking to upgrade try the Diamond 9 or the Pacific Evolution line.
